Please tell us what you do for or with your yorkie(s) that shows just how obsessed you are with them!

You know, the stuff that makes everyone (who doesn't have a yorkie of their very own) look at you like you are "strange"shock

Mum and I are YOYO's - I'm the owned part and she's the obsessed part. She has two shadows; her own and me. smile
Visitors sometimes ask, 'Doesn't it bother you they way TJ follows you around?'thinking Sharp reply 'NO!' big grin
I lie in Mum's arm (like a baby), my eyes rivetted on her face while she scratches my chest and tells me I'm her precious Bubbi. My paddy-paws close gently over her hand and my eyes begin to flutter. I fall asleep.
Visitors raise eyebrows and slowly shake their heads. 'You treat him like a baby,' they say. 'And why shouldn't I?' retorts Mum, 'he's my Yorkie baby!' way to go

My turn...
I love to bake homemade doggie bones, cakes and treats for my yorkies! I cook them special meals so that they have the very bestway to go

I do all of their grooming. This time is really relaxing for me. I have a doggie stroller and really enjoy taking them out and showing them off. With four yorkies, this is no easy task.

I sew their outfits so that they have special coordinating clothes to wear for different seasons and holidays. I love to buy them stuff whether it be clothes, beds, blankets, toys, beauty products or tools for their grooming time.

I worry more about their health than my own. I let them all beg while I am eating and always share my veggies with them. (I know...but that is the only bad habit they have.)

I even started a meetup group in our area just so I could meet others that adored their yorkies just like I do and so that my furbabies could have some fun with other yorkies.

I take hundreds and hundreds of photos of them in different outfits and different backgrounds just so I can share their beauty with everyone. And I do share with everyone I meet.

All four of them sleep in our bed. Each with their own blankie, each tucked in at night with kisses. I'm even having some blankies I made embroidered with their names for each of them.

I admit it... I am addicted...I don't want to be cured...And I am loving every moment of it! I am so thankful my husband loves them just as much as I do!snoopy I just adore my Maggie, Chloe, Gigi & Andy!dancingpartycheerparty

Toto

I think we are totally addicted too.. everytime we make a short trip somewhere we can't take Toto with, we have to bring him a new toy.. now he has so many toys..

I also make his food and his snack.. chicken jerkies are his favorite but they are a bit high in calories so I give him a small portion. He likes his blueberry cookies and tofe lees cookies a lot too. Everytime I use the oven, he thinks I'm making his snack!

I take him to a dog cafe everyweek where he loves to meet some of his friends and gets special treats while he is sitting right next to me. He loves to go there and always runs towards it whenever we go near by.

We take him for a walk twice a day, actually never missed his walk a single day! When he gets tired (since it gets really humid here in Summer) he looks into my eyes and slows down. Then I pick him up and carry him until he feels like walking again.

He has 5 beds and 2 chairs he sleeps on, but I love waking up with him laying on my pillow right next to my face.

We are always talking to him and tell him how much we love him! He likes to rest his head on our arm and fall asleep.

We are very addicted and there is no cure! We are just madly in love with him!!!!

Toto's Mom,
Thank you so much for sharing! I just love hearing about all the special things you do for Toto. Toto sounds very very special and he is very fortunate to have such loving parents!

I wish we had doggie cafes here. Not too dog friendly around here! Sigh

Thanks again for posting and for joining our little group. Wish you lived in San Antonio, Texas to join our YOYO meetup group that meets once a month. You and Toto would have so much fun with our Yorkies and Mom's & Dads!

Baxter Raley

Count two more YOYO's here in East Texas! I have two Yorkies, male and female ... Baxter & Bailee. Also known 'round here as the 'Killer B's'!! These two small babies of mine, go just about 'everywhere' with me and my husband. When we travel, they each have their own car seat, with their own blanket and a toy. They each have their own shade, on the window, to keep the sun from shining directly on them. I make the better part of Bailee's hair bows and the bandanas for Baxter (I try to have them matching or at least color coordinated!). I have a doggie stroller, for when we go to Round Top (Antiquing) or to Canton Trades Days. Plus, I also have a baby pram, that I've used before, to take them out on walks. They each have their own personalized bags, harness and leashes. They both have their own bed ... for when I'm in the kitchen or on the computer, they are right beside me. At night they sleep with us ... they're happy just as long as they can touch us! I would've never thought that I'd be 'YOYO' over these two small animals ... but ,my husband and I both are!!

"Yoyo's" are all connected. The obsession and addiction is so common in yorkies owners and speads like the aroma of fresh baked doggie bones in Mom's kitchen.

I love to hear how everyone pampers and adores their yorkies. It makes me smile and makes my day....plus it gives me more ideas too!thinking

my fiance always says I am owned by my yorkie instead of the other way around laugh out loud The new girl I work with actually thought Barbie was my human daughter because she heard me talk about her so much. A lot of times before we go to bed I say "and I thank God for my yorkie and hope one day my fiance will think I deserve a little boy." smile

I'm really hoping for a little boy for christmas but my fiance already comes second to Barbie... what will one more hurt?! I know you guys agree!!!

There is nothing like more "Yorkie to Go Around"!

Please explain to your fiance that the sooner he is "yorkie addicted" the sooner his "spot" will advance to "next to the Yorkie Mom". Then your yorkies will come before any other...but not before him...because he will feel the same about them as you do. way to go

Hope that made sense. My husband and I are both "obsessed" with our furbabies and so he totally understands.

I am just kidding around! I'm am sure your sweet Fiance is a "YOYO" too! big grin

Well My Mommy is a YOYO b/c she has 3 Yorkies and must stay away from the breeder or she'll have 4! We host and organize a Yorkie Meet up- a play date for all yorkies to come and play . Its really fun! Mommy spends her weekends playing and taking us everywhere. snoopysnoopysnoopy
