	Hello fellow Shepherds. German Shepherd Inc (GSI) is going to host it’s first official contest this month. We are calling it Styling Shepherds. This is important in that you will need to tag the photo with this when adding it to your dogster page. So what is it exactly we are doing? We are decorating a picture of our pets (GSDs, but others in your pack may participate). You can do whatever you want. Here is an example of Gideon’s pic: http://www.dogster.com/dogs/577551/photos/2 I did this in 15 minutes. You can use whatever kind of program you want. If you have any suggestions please feel free to share with us so that we may share with other GSI members. In coming days we will be providing on-line links that you may use to edit your photos. The Rules: 1. Nothing bad on the photos: profanity, cussing, etc. Please keep it tasteful! 2. Be creative. 3. Have fun! What we are judging on is: 1. Creativity 2. Style 3. How well you followed the rules. Okay this is how you post them!!!! Post them on your dogster page, like you would a any of your dogs pictures. Remember to tag them STYLING SHEPHERDS! We will put the top ten in the German Shepherds Inc. group site. The contest will be held from August 03, 2007 to August 27, 2007. Have fun and feel free to contact me with any questions. 	As a motivation to participate we are offering some prizes. As we mentioned before the top ten will be displayed at the group site. 1st Place will receive a certificate, 6 rosettes, and 30 bones. 2nd Place will receive a certificate, 4 rosettes, and 20 bones 3rd Place will receive a certificate, 2 rosettes, and 10 bones 4th-7th will receive 5 bones and honorable mention. Make sure to have Fun!!

	Okay! Finally, motivation for my Mom to learn some of the 'fun stuff' she's been waaaay too busy (always doing WORK stuff) to figure out. Took her awhile surfin' the sites and (gasp!) reading directions, but I think she's got it ... or will soon. Cool contest idea!
