Hi fellow MI Danes! Welcome and thanks for joining the group!

I'm Gracie and I'm a 3 year old merle Great Dane. My family and I live in Redford which is a suburb just west of Detroit. There are two dog parks we visit - one is Hines Dog Park in Westland and the other is one is in Mt. Clemens.

I also have a new Dane brother and his name is Harley. He'll be introducing himself next.

Hi all, my name is Harley and I'm a 19 month old black Great Dane. I'm Gracie's new "little" brother as my parents just adopted me a few days ago.

I'm a big boy since I am 35" at the shoulder and already 170 lbs. I'm not even 2 yet so I still have some growing to do!

We are Calli and Ceaser and we are from West Branch Michgan we are a very small town and have no dog parks:+( we would love to meet some danes and play with dogs that are the same size as us so we look forward to meeting everyone!!

Hey all! My name is Bacardi and I am 3 months old. My mom and I live in Lapeer Michigan. I have four cats as my brother and sisters and they don't like me very much yet frown I have too much energy. Mom keeps telling me not to bark at them when I am trying to play with them, and MAYBE they would play. I'm trying, buts it hard. Anyways, we have no doggie parks around here, but there are lots of dogs in the neighborhood that I play with when we are out on our walks. I would LOVE IT if we all could get together and play. Bacardi, that would be so much fun if we could get together and play. It would be just us big pups! There aren't a lot of Danes by us either, at least I don't know of any.

Fish and Newman, I've never heard of Zeeland before! You must be on the west side of MI.

Hi smile, My name is Elli, I'm 23mo and live in Grand Rapids/Wyoming Michigan with three humans and my 'BIG' very active little Great Dane brother Ennio. There's a dog park that my family takes us to, but since I'm usually bigger then most dogs there (I'm only 100 lbs so not that big) its sorta hard to play like I would usually play, I tend to play a little rough, but I LOVE to run with other dogs also.....I agree, it would be great if we could sometime all get together and play, I've never gotten to play with another Dane before, and I belive I can get my humans to drive quite a ways for a play date, since I don't belive there are alot of Danes around here. Thanks for inviting us, and look forward to meeting all of you wave

Hi again all! I am ejoying reading about all of you. Hey Elli... I bet I could get my mom to drive for a play date too. Maybe with Gracie and Harley's help we could plan something? We could see how many other pups would be interested and find a good central location with a doggie park so we can all run ourselves silly. Let me know what you think... B
