It seems like everyone has a channel they turn to when there is nothing else on tv but they are too lazy to get up and do something constructive. What is the channel you always turn to?

I tend to always turn to the Food Network. It really inspires my creativity. I am really not a good cook, and the food they are usually coooking on there is a. time consuming and b. expensive, but I just can't get enough!

My husband always turns to the weather channel or now, Discovery HD. Sometimes I think I married my grandpa laugh out loud

Why do you think you always turn to that channel? Does it say anything about you?

Definitely Discovery HD. Though we do also watch A&E HD because they play CSI almost 24/7 ...

If there is practically nothing on, it's usually Discovery, History, or Cartoon Network.

Winnie - do you watch the Next Food Network Star? I love that show. You wouldn't think a cooking show could make you cry but that one gets me every week laugh out loud

Alton Brown is awesome. I love Giada too because she's always going to the Italian islands. I like Tyler Florence too - I always want to try his recipes.

On one of our Discovery HD moments the other day, we ended up watching a show about praying mantises! Its nasty to see those things that up close and personal. Did you know Praying Mantises haven't evolved in over 350 million years? I find that fascinating. There was also a show on there about dogs mating. That grossed me out too. Discovery HD isn't for the sensitve types wink

I don't watch much random TV anymore (I tend to just watch specific shows that I record), but when I did, the channel was Animal Planet. smile

I LOVE Animal Planet and History Civilization ... but unfortunately I don't have satellite or any fancy cable packages so I only get to watch that one when I dog-sit for a lady on my flyball team.

I've discovered that I really like a new channel here called Slice. It's like a modern version of TLC. I also like HGTV for the British real estate shows. I also like Discovery Channel ... but I don't get Discovery HD.

I couldn't believe what happened on The Next Food Network Star last night! shock

I'm voting for Amy. I was really shocked when she got the boot.

We don't get all of those cool channels you get in Canada!
