STORY: Tatum (Tater to her Foster Mom) and the Tots ended up in the shelter when the pups were just 8 days old. Fortunately, LBR was able to get them safely into foster care before they got sick. A shelter is no place for tiny babies! They were born May 22nd.

STORY: Elliot's Mom and Dad met Sarge in our local pound we were not in the market for another dog but seeing how cute he was and that his time was running out we decided to try to get him out of there. The great people of HART stepped in and rescued him from death row. Sarge has been our foster since 6-23.
Traits: My foster mum is certain that I would be great for any family, but because of my disability and because I might be a little too playful for the tiny bipeds I'd be best in a family with kids over 8 years old.

STORY: Violet was found dodging traffic. Although the shelter found her owners, they never bothered to claim her - the nerve! She ultimately moved from the shelter into foster care. She is 9 pounds of spunk and fun and good with dogs and cats!

STORY: Mufasa is a surrender to the Ridgeback Rescue and is currently waiting for his furever home! Moofy is just a sweet old boy, very typical of a Ridgeback. He wants to touch you, sleep under the covers at night with you and just be loved. He is in foster care with another dog, two cats and a toddler. Moofy is a perfect gentleman who would be a great addition to any Ridgeback-experienced home!
STORY by FOSTER: Approximately 2 1/2 months ago Sweets' owner died, and Sweets was discovered a week later in the apartment, skinny and frail, having not eaten. Miraculously, he survived. We have been fostering him ever since and have nursed him back to health. However, because of our apartment situation, we can not keep him, and are thus searching for a good home for a loyal dog that has become a part of our family. We would love for somebody to adopt him, but if you can just foster for a time, that would not be turned away.
GOOD with children and cats. Prefers home without dogs.

STORY: Curtis was in the Oklahoma City Shelter. He would have been put to sleep after three days of being in the shelter due to a city ordinance that targets pits and pit mixes if left unclaimed. The foster cannot keep him for herself but she will foster him until she finds the perfect home. She requires a lengthy interview process.

STORY: Tyler was discovered at a pet store. I am not sure why he is being adopted out but they will adopt him out for free. From his bio, it seems that they can't provide him the attention he deserves and it sounds like he may be living outside. An ad on his page prevents me from reading the full story. He is great with kids, dogs, cats and is just an all around sweet dog. Very cute pup!

STORY: I was running free and heard some dogs in the back of this house so I went to see what was going on and there was some dogs out there talking to me and I talking to them. And they told me to sit there that there mom would be out soon to see what they were barking at and that she would more then likely let me in being she is a SUCKER for animals. Sure enough she saw me fell in love with my puppy eyes and bamb I was in. I was so hungry and needed water and some good rest. You know on the streets you have to watch everything so no one hurts you so I was able to get some good rest here and I felt so safe.
