Confession time!! What is one unique or remarkable thing about you that others would be surprised to learn? Or more than one, should you choose!


As for mine, it is that I have a broken neck due to a car accident. I can still walk but have limited mobility looking up, down, side to side. But because many individuals who break their c5 bone, I am happy to be walking and not too limited in activites, so the pain never gets me down.

Wow what a miracle Audra!!

I can touch my tongue to my nose!! I have had a broken collar bone and the hospital set my bone wrong, the bone overlaps and I have been told i will eventually lose function of my right hand, and its causes me much pain and back and arm trouble. But I still function!!

Well, to go along with the broken bone theme.......When I was 5, I jumped off the back porch railing (don't ask me why, probably seemed like a good idea at the time!!) and broke both the bones in the bottom of my leg. Remember this was 49 years ago. They didn't have the technology they have today. I was in a cast from my hip to my toes and had a wheelchair from July until after Thanksgiving. I bet I drove my poor mother insane!!! To this day, when it rains or is cold, my leg aches.

I was born a twin, but the other baby was stillborn. It was before ultrasounds, so my mom never knew she was going to have 2 babies! I always wondered what it would have been like to have a twin brother. I'm the youngest of 4 girls and the next oldest is 9 years older than me.

We played this game at work one night and it was pretty crazy to learn things about people you know very well and spend a lot of time with. Unfortunately, my boss decided to reveal the fact that she doesn't wear underwear.
Just had to share that...LOL!

Many of you know that I had cancer last year. (For those of you who were unaware, I was diagnosed with Lymphoma last August at the age of 23.)
I had super long (and very curly) hair at the time of my diagnosis and to make something beautiful out of something tragic, I chopped off all my hair (over 20 inches!) and donated it all to Locks of Love-Which is a charity who makes wigs for kids with chronic hair loss.
I lost the rest of my hair soon after but found joy in the fact that someone out there will be able to make good of all the hair that I lost.
I would love to someday meet the child that was on the recieving end of that gift.way to go

I have 2 'replacement parts'. LOL This is due to the side affects of a medicine used to save my life from a disease no one has ever heard of. So I am kinda like the bionic woman without any of the perks.

My Husband and I tend to take in stray mom with their kids. I have Josie mom and her 16 yr old and then another mom with a 3 yr old. They are helping with the rent, utilities and other things and it gives them a safe place to call home for as long as they want. Josie mom has been with us almost 2 yrs and she has had several furbabies here with us at different time.
