People being contacted before this were being bullied and lied to. One member of a class action received as compensation for her loss......
A $2.00 off coupon towards their product.
The Judge has ordered a group of over 30 lawyers to draw up one letter that the pet food companies can send out. This letter will contain information that states you should not sign anything without an Attorney!
Anyone that has been affected by this recall,
I urge you to join a class action (I did) The pet food companies are claiming they are not responsible for Vet bills incurred. WRONG! They are. Including bills if you had an animal tested and the tests were negative, the only reason you took your animal to be tested was due to the possibility. That possibility was created by the manufacturer and is indeed a bill you should be compensated for. There is MUCH more at stake here..... 180,000 animals were affected either by death or illness.
The strength of these cases lies in the numbers of Pet parents that want to know this won't happen again and are willing to join with the rest of us to make positive changes for all.
There is evidence that tainted foods may have been on store shelves over a year ago.
Please, don't let our lost babies be forgotten, If it didn't affect you or your pets, congratulations,
you may not be as lucky next time!
Without your support, It CAN happen AGAIN!
Here is a site that can help you all find the best food available. It tells you what you should look for as well as what to avoid.
