	Hello, my name is Audra and I am the mother of two boys...one human who is 8 and the other is my little Shift. I live in the Midwest and my passions in life are my family, motocross, photography and music. I love spending time online, which made me want to start such a group on Dogster. I have been frustrated with the tone of other general chat message boards. My family of four spends a lot of time outside and enjoy living in the Midwest despite the extreme cold. My son races motocross and that is what defines us as a family as we all ride (even Shift, though he sticks to four wheelers) and we are involved in all aspects of the sport. So, that is what makes us tick. My goal is to make this group very fun and active and we will have contests and fun things. I want to see how quickly membership grows before we begin our contests. 	Hi, my name is Beverly and I'm a wife(38 years and counting) and mother to two grown children. My hubby retired at 55 from the post office and after working at a bank for many years I quit so we could enjoy his retirement together. We live in Northern Indiana..in Notre Dame Land. My husband loves to build furniture and I love to crochet. We're the proud parents of two pugs that we fostered and then adopted. Before our girls came into our lives we had 4 wonderful Shih Tzus. They have all gone to heaven now and we still miss them very much. I'm looking forward to making some new friends here.

	Hi, my name is Cindy and I am the dog mom of Nikki and Bo. I have a pet care business in the 'burbs of Chicago and have been married for 13 years. Dogs are such a huge part of my life, my two are like kids to me. My husband is a painter (walls, not Art!) and we like to go riding on his bikes (Harleys not Schwinn) in our spare time. I like to garden and I am into Organic eating and helping the environment. I guess I'm kind of a "granola head"! We belong to Say Chi's (Nikki is an Honorary Chi) and saw Shifts post. We'll see how well I can type as a human instead of a little dog. I know so many people through their dogs, yet I know only one womans name! I hope you all have a nice day!

	Hi My name is Joanne. I am 50 years old and have been married for half my life. My husband and I will celebrate 25 years of marriage on July 17th I have two human children. My son will be 24 in June and my daughter will be 21 in June I have two furbabies. Lili was a year old on March 1st and Mocha will be 6 months old on May 23rd. We also had an Old English Sheepdog, named Laddie. He went to the Rainbow Bridge and we still miss him greatly I live in a small town called Tenino, Washington. I think that fills you in for now. 	Wow!! This is hard!! It's so easy to talk about Birdie online, but its so scary to talk about myself. Hmmmmm.....I guess I feel "safer" as a dog!! OK--deep breath--my name is ........L. (sorry couldn't do it) LOL!! And I live in Katy Texas with my husband and two kids. We have Rush, a German Shorthaired Pointer (my husbands baby) and Birdie, a long haired Chihuahua (like Shift)(My baby). Our dogs are just an extension of our human children and we love them dearly!! I've never talked online as myself so give me some time and I should be ablt to jump right in with both feet. I love Dogster and think this group is a WONDERFUL idea to talk about some other things in our lives. Thanks Shift!!

	Hiya! I'm Gypsy and Dusty's mom ... I go by Ravyn mostly, live in the Midwest (MO) and love dogs, animals in general and the outdoors. My computer room has a door to the outside front porch so a lot of the time I can be online AND outdoors listening to the birds at the same time However, when my fur-kids start the bark-a-thon (whenever another dog, a cat, a rabbit, squirrel, or bird wanders by) I try to get them back inside and shut the door. They think that when I'm on the computer it's no problem for me to get up every couple minutes to let them out ... then in ... then out again ... LOL These 2 guys are my first dogs that were bonded to ME (we had dogs off and on growing up but never for long ... my mother always found other homes for them when she decided they were too much work ). As an adult I've had many cats and ferrets (love ferrets!) but when I got Gypsy, the dog thing stuck. My cat had died at age 18 and my 2 remaining ferrets were given to another ferret-loving friend so I could concentrate on the hyperactive fluff-ball that was Gypsy. I work at a school, but don't have summers off, although we do get all the school holidays. We go up to Minnesota to go dog-sledding every couple years (Those dogs LOVE to pull and they're very well taken care of!! I love those dogs). I make jewelry that I donate to various fundraisers with which I'm associated, and to give as gifts. I will make things for people on request if they pay for the materials, but this isn't a business. I won't post here but if anyone is curious, p-mail Gypsy or Dusty and they'll send you a link to my Flickr page that has all the pictures of various things I've made over the last couple years. This group is a GREAT idea!! Sometimes I get a little tired of being a dog hehe. Ravyn
