Hi Ginger.

Nothing wrong with prick ears, but the standard is for folded ears. Why does your mommy want papers for you? Are you planning on starting a family? Usually, that should be left to the professionals. They try their best to make sure genetic issues don't pass on to the next generation. My mommy took me to the JRTCA nationals one year and we had our DNA documented as they are trying to solve some genetic problems that can be common among Jacks. If your mommy wants papers to she can do some fun stuff at dog show events, most will give you a limited registration. All that means is that you wont be starting a family but you can participate in fun stuff like agility, obedience, racing, lure course and earthdog stuff.

This is Phoebe's mommy.

I used to say she was a confused pup, because one ear folds, and the other ear stands. I say she was confused because her brother a chihuahua has ears that stand! So she wasn't sure what she was a chihuahua or a JRT.

But she is perfect just the way she is. Her prick ear giver her personality, not like she needs it, but it really does fit her!
