3) How long has your Mom/Dad been feeding you home cooked food? My mom has been making me homemade treats for about a year.
4) What sparked your Mom/Dad's interest in home cooked food? When I was 6 months old the vet found calcium oxalate crystals in my urine. These crystals caused me to bleed. So now I am on a special diet and I am healthy. This also means that I can't have most of the treats on the market because they have at least one thing in them that I can't have. So my mom decided to make my treats.
5) What is your usual meal? Canine Urinary S O ( that is my prescription food)
6) What do you hate to eat?Nothing Allergic to any food? No,
There are just a lot of things I can't have because of my diet. The only meat I can have is poultry. I can't have dairy, fish, peanuts, corn, soy... The list goes on.
7) Do you add supplements? Which ones? no
8) And what is your favorite treat? you can tell us whether it's homemade or not. The homemade banana cake my mom made me for my 1st birthday.

I am so glad mommy found this page. I can finaly have some home cooked meals. I stand around in the kitchen when mommy is cooking, I like to watch her ( I also try to sneak anything that has dropped on the floor) and smell all the different foods she cooks. Mommy likes to bake, but right now everyone is watching calories and fat (including me, the doc said I was a little chubby) mommy said she wished there was a Weight Watchers for pups too.

~~I live in Washington State, the southwestern half.

~~ I haven't had any home cooked meals yet.
4) What sparked your Mom/Dad's interest in home cooked food?
~~The freshness and the control over what I am eating. Did I mention that mommy loves to cook and now she can cook for me!!
5) What is your usual meal?
~~Before I came to live with mommy, I was introduced to IAMS smart puppy so that is what mommy feeds me.
6) What do you hate to eat? Allergic to any food?
~~ I don't really hate any foods yet, Mommy hasn't really given me anything other than the dried puppy food and we haven't discovered any allergies , besides mommy wouldn't know what to look for .
7) Do you add supplements? Which ones?
~~No supplements.

~~I like the Zennpuppy treats. Mommy is using those to help me pay attention to commands I am learning. Also I like popcorn and plain yogurt. Oh and IAMS puppy biscuts

~~Mommy was checking out some of the other pups and came across this link on another pups page so she had to check it out and seen that it was ALL about home cooked foods for us furfriends and she had to join cause she really wanted to find home cooked foods that she can make for me.

5) What is your usual meal? A Bravo patty, a Billinghurst patty, or some ground turkey cooked with scrambled eggs and veggies.
6) What do you hate to eat? Allergic to any food? I'll eat anything you put in front of me, but I get the itchies from most grains, and from chicken.
7) Do you add supplements? Which ones? Omega 3 and 6's.
8) And what is your favorite treat? I love yogurt, especially strawberry and blueberry. Green beans. Sweet potato.

4) What sparked your Mom/Dad's interest in home cooked food? Mommy read some things that scared her a little about commercial dog food and also came across some recipes and information on feeding home cooked food and she loves to cook anyway, so this really sparked her interest.
5) What is your usual meal? Well it was Iams and we're still getting that, but she's switching that to Innova because she's heard really good things about it. When she cooks we get brown rice, meat, and veggies.
6) What do you hate to eat? Allergic to any food? we haven't found anything we hate to eat yet!
7) Do you add supplements? Which ones? No, but maybe if Mommy learns more about that she will.

Mami will occasionally cook Mrs. Nesbitt something but since I been here I have had no joy! Imma make Mami cook me some a ya'll's good recipies! My paws are ready to send something to the printer! I'll stick it on the fridge and she'll HAVETA make treats!

we were looking at LuLu's page (rat/smooth terrier) and we saw she was in this groupo. I'm hoping Mami will bake me & Mrs. Nesbitt up some goodies!

Well, I like to snark me some people goodies but we eat Iams Adult Dry. (and Iams catfood when no one is looking!)

None that Mami knows of....

Mami gives us bone meal powder on our kibble, vitimins and the yeast/garlic pills. She keeps those by the fish tank so we all think we're getting to eat the fishes food! BOL

My Mami's family is from another country originally where for a long time there was NO dog food other than what you cooked for them. So my Mami grew up seeing dog food cooking on the stove and one of the BEST things in my family was seeing someone come in and accidentally dish some up and eat it! LOL

We were looking at a very sweet pup LuLu Rat Terrier/Smooth Fox Terrier and saw her groups. Mami would like some recipies other than the ones she grew up feeding her dogs with.
