For about two months we've been 50/50 with kibble and homecooked food.
4) What sparked your Mom's interest in home cooked food?
Research on Dog Nutrition, and also because we get especially excited when we see her going into the fridge at dinner time.
5) What is your usual meal?
It changes. 50% Orijen kibble with a variety of Chicken, Salmon, Eggs, and veggies.
6) What do you hate to eat? Allergic to any food?
My ears acted up and were sore when I was eating Duck Protein based kibble. I don'teat fruit.
7) Do you add supplements? Which ones?
Sometimes we get Norwegian Cod LiverOil if mom thinks we need it.
8) And what is your favorite treat? you can tell us whether it's homemade or not.
Homemade Salmon Biscuits.
9) On a scale of 1 to 10 (1=willing to learn and 10=hoping to help others!), how much does your Mom know about home cooked food?

2) Where do you live? Southeastern, PA
3) How long has your Mom/Dad been feeding you home cooked food?-Mom hasn't started yet but she's been reading up and wants to make sure I get EVERYTHING good that I need.
4) What sparked your Mom/Dad's interest in home cooked food? All of the recalls and the fact that I pretty much turn my nose up at dry kibble.
5) What is your usual meal? Right now I eat Nature's Recipe Fish & Potato--but I'll really only eat it if she puts Buttermilk or chicken stock or SOMETHING to make it taste nicer.
6) What do you hate to eat? Allergic to any food? I don't like cucumbers and I'm allergic to beef.
7) Do you add supplements? Which ones? Right now I take a Probiotic every morning otherwise I have soft poo a lot. But mom said if she home cooks I might have to take more supplements, she's not sure yet.
8) And what is your favorite treat? you can tell us whether it's homemade or not. I love "stinky treats" not sure what they are but they come in a roll that looks like a sausage and I only get them when I'm learning new things.

4) What sparked your Mom/Dad's interest in home cooked food? All the puppers in my house eat home cooked and do really well on it! Less trips to the vet!
5) What is your usual meal? Merrick Puppy Plate mixed with homecooked and/or raw meats and veggies, eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt.
6) What do you hate to eat? Allergic to any food? I like it all!
7) Do you add supplements? Which ones? I get Omega 3s and bonemeal.

2) I used to live in Texas but now I live with my new family in Illinois.
3) How long has your Mom/Dad been feeding you home cooked food? Just table scraps...what I steal off them and they also give us (me and my sis) meaty bones and extras off the grill. We get really good quality kibble. Timberwolf organics is the best.
4) What sparked your Mom/Dad's interest in home cooked food? Mom stinks at cooking, but I don't mind. Momma wants us to eat even better.
5) What is your usual meal? Kibble and beef cow soup bones from the butcher with the occational egg at breakfast time.
6) What do you hate to eat? Allergic to any food? Everything is good to me. I even eat cat poop with those breath fresh'ning minty rocks in it and I drink martinis out of the toilet...who you kidding. I am allergic to cheap kibble...maybe not allergic and I will eat it but it doesn't make me look as hansom with flaky skin and my hair all rough and falling out.
7) Do you add supplements? Which ones? Usually Momma adds fish oil (alaskan salmon usually) and Missing link.
8) And what is your favorite treat? you can tell us whether it's homemade or not. Human Food...and if they don't give it, I'll find it, and take it myself.  No use being coy.
9) On a scale of 1 to 10 (1=willing to learn and 10=hoping to help others!), how much does your Mom and/or Dad know about home cooked food? Dad knows how to grill and he's good with breakfast and Momma...hope she's not reading this...let's just say willing to learn to stay on the safe side.
10) How did you find this group? Pal, search, forum post? One of our pup pals had it and Momma thought it was interesting since she was looking into books containing info on "whole" pup food. But we are big dogs and need alot of food at one time.

Almost 2 months
4) What sparked your Mom/Dad's interest in home cooked food? I kept getting sick. Vet prescribed Hills ID for life. Mom hated to feed it to me and I still kept getting sick..I only weighed a bit over 7 pounds, you could count my ribs. Found a vet who is also a nutritionist, diagnosed with EPI. Got my meds, switched to HC food. Gained 3/4 of a pound and feel GREAT! Mom was sold!!
5) What is your usual meal? Favorite is Ground turkey, brown rice, zucchini squash.
6) What do you hate to eat? Haven't found anything yet
7) Do you add supplements? Which ones? Enzymes, Bone meal, Vitamins, Cod Liver oil & Probiotic.
8) And what is your favorite treat? you can tell us whether it's homemade or not. Mom makes cookies with peanut butter and molasses...yummy. I never got treats before, they made me sick.
9) On a scale of 1 to 10 (1=willing to learn and 10=hoping to help others!), how much does your Mom and/or Dad know about home cooked food? 1 We are still new at this...have two books and haunt the threads BOL.
