Here's a little 7-day game that will be end on Dec 1st midnight.

Tell me what is the COOLEST dog trick you have ever seen. It could be one you have seen on TV, on the internet or in real life. It can be a single trick, or a "series" of movements.

(To make things clear, an example for a single trick would be let's say, roll over. An example for a series of movement would be: being able to walk on your hind legs around your mommy backwards. (if the movement you suggested is in one of the freestyle dance, you have to tell me WHICH specific movement you are talking about).

Now, on Dec 1st midnight, I'll pick the 3 coolest trick/movement and give each dog who suggested it ONE or TWO rosettes depending on how cool I think the trick is. You can increase your chances to win if you can find a video of a dog doing it and posting the link of the video rather than just describing the trick. Or do you know a very special trick that you think it's really cool? Tell us! Show us!

Since I'm going to be the judge, let me tell you what I've aleady seen:
1) a bulldog skateboarding
2) a dog standing still on his front paws only
3) a poodle walking on his front paws.
4) any tricks that I can do won't qualify as the coolest!

Now, go search, and post the coolest tricks you found, HERE! You can post as many coolest tricks as possible. The game will be fair (not based on who suggested) but remember, I'd decide what is the coolest base on what I think. HAVE FUN Searching! smile

Chico, thank you so much for posting your findings!! However, I gotta note that you have to specify which TRICK in each of the videos you have mentioned otherwise this would be "find the coolest dog trick video" and not the coolest trick! smile

I have seen the 1st video on tv and it's quite amazing!!
BOL! I think the "I want my mama" is quite funny!
Again, thanks for posting! I enjoyed watching the videos!

The trick I like best is a several in one. It's not so much a trick, but just a super-well trained dog , that is really smart. Click here to see it.
You have to click on the third video over to see it. It's called "Skidboot"

BOL Lady that was super cute! It's really just a bunch of easy tricks, but the way it was put together it was really entertaining big grin They handler's twangy accent really added to the show I think BOL Thanks for sharing that!

I have to say that the best trick I have seen is also one of those easy tricks, but when put together properly it can really be cute and impressive! I met a Rottie that would do the trick where his mom would ask him what breed of dog he was. Now picture, a big "scary" big-boy Rottie (he's really a cuddle-bug, but just has the physical appearance that tells ya you wouldn't wanna meet him in a back alley BOL). His mom asks him "Are you a Poodle?" and he growls really deep and gives her the evil eye. Then she asks if he is a Shih Tzu, and he growls again. She can ask him any kind of dog breed and he will just sit there and growl at her. But when she finally asks if he is a Rottweiler, he jumps up barking and wiggling his stubby tail like a maniac!

Really a crowd pleaser, that one big grin

One of the coolest tricks I've seen (sorry, couldn't find a video) is of Trouble, a border collie/jack russel mix that belongs to disc dog great Pam Cassleman. When Pam lies on her back with her feet in the air, Trouble will stand on Pam's feet & catch frisbees that are tossed to her. This is the pair's signature trick & has won them many competitions & contests. Pam & Trouble demonstrated it at a seminar I went to & it's pretty neat to watch.

Well, yeah Gio, I guess it's kind of simple. I'm so energetic, I could never be still and calm like that, so it looks amazing to me!

A dog in my clicker class could count. It was so cool and I wish mommy would have video taped it. I did find a Jack Russell online that can do the same.

You will have to copy and paste into your web browser since my mommy forgot how to make a clickable link.
