Jake said I should join this group!
As you guys can see, I am not a golden retreiver although I like to steal and chase any ball that Jake has, (Does that make me pass in your group??? I like tennis balls!!?")
Jake is my new brother. I was fostered and then my foster mommy posted me on Dogster ( I was dog of the week)
Because of Dogster, I was able to find my new furever home with Jake and mommy and daddy and the BOY and Ty the kitty.
Anyway hope that you guys like me. And that we all have a good time in this group!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO THE AMERICAN DOGGIES ON THIS GROUP! I came from The States and I have heard that there is a very BIG holiday for Thanksgiving happening there! I am only 8 months old so I have never had Thanksgiving before. Mommy says Thanksgiving is smaller in Canada but wait until Christmas. What is Christmas?

Welcome Teddy! You are one lucky dog to have such a wonderful family.

Christmas is the best time of the year. You will get gifts (without even doing tricks or being good!) and your human will eat tons of really great food. My mom gets me peanut butter cookies from the bakery just for me! I can't have them all at once though.

Maybe your mom will start a Christmas tradition with you. Mine is I get some cookies and then I get to open my gifts (they are actually wrapped). Then the humans get to open theirs.

Anyone else have any cool traditions we can try out?

Last Christmas was my first in my forever home and the only tradition I started was stealing the stocking off the fireplace and running around with it. I HAD to, it was a squeaky stocking!
I love making noise! But I like Tedibear's tradition with the peanut butter cookies. I'm going to talk to mom about that.

Slobber slobber drool drroooool!!!

We have stockings with our names on them and mommy says Santa Dawg comes and puts stuff in them. I get new bones and new balls and cookies to eat! I get mine first because then I keep busy and do not care what the humans are doing for the rest of the morning if I have a toy or something to chew on! I love to eat the christmas wrapping. Don't you? Mommy always takes it off me.
I guess Teddy will get his own stocking or maybe we will have to share a new one this year ... or OOH OOH! MAYBE WE WILL GET ONE OF THOSE BIG HUGE STOCKINGS!! !!!!You could sure fit a lot of food and toys in those things!!!

*assuming we have been good boys of course**** ahem....

oh now I am excited! this is my first year with my forever home too teddy, may yours be so much fun! i do hear rumors from the cat that the balls ON the tree are not for the taking!....... well the cat said I could take them and play with them..... but He doesn't like me so I really know that it is the opposite of what He told me party .

My only complaint about the whole thing is that mom always sticks bows on my head when they are unwrapping presents! She knows I HATE things on my head but she does it anyway then tries to take a picture but I usually have shaken it off by the time she gets the camera! Oh well...she always cooks a good breakfast afterwards!

ooooh breakfast! Cinnamon rolls! My mommy does cinnamon rolls! Then they have coffee with it and open gifts. Last year they smelled soo good. Now that I have Teddy, I am sure I can train him to steal one for us to share! Slobber, slobber, drool!

I am going to try and steal a whole basket of Mayonnaise biscuits that my mom makes every year.
