Last nite, Chez Troi's was robbed by a furry suspect who made off with Beef Wellinton, Carmelized Sweet Potatoes, and Asparagus. The perpetrator entered into the restaurant and barked madly until said goods were handed over. The wait staff was terrified, and unable to get a good look at the suspect, even though the suspect stayed and consumed a whole plate of sweet potatoes in the restaurant. The photo on the group page, entitled Case File 001 was capured of the suspect by a civilian who was eating dinner at the time. Any further information leading to the capture of this dangerous food theif would be greatly appreciated. Right now, based on eye witness accounts we are looking for a german shepherd mix about 90 pounds with an agressive temprement. The suspect is armed and will go for any food at any time. If you are approached by this suspect, hand over any food immediately. Do not try to apprehend yourself, we wouldn't want you to get hurt. Please respond immediately with any possible leads or information.

Late breaking News: A thourough combing of the clothes of the diners at the restaurant revealed one long hair, presumed from the suspect. It had amazing cling properties and with luck the detectives did not destroy the evidence when removing from the attached clothing. The hair is being sent to a DNA lab for testing. Hopefully, we will hear from our DNA expert soon for a complete description of the possible suspect.

DNA Truck Overturned, all evidence destroyed. Driver interviewed in a daze said he stopped for a cute little puppy crossing the street and that's all he remembers. Police are stumped and have no leads.

Wow, isn't that amazing? The driver remembers NOTHING except a cute little puppy. Isn't that just awful.... It is soooo terrible when the police loose evidence that a case hinges on, isn't it?

Report just in from the DNA Analysis Lab:

Though all evidence was conveniently destroyed in the nasty crash of our delivery truck, our experts have carefully examined the eye-witness photo and have some new information that will hopefully aid in the identification of the culprit.

- The hair growth on the cervical-thoracic region appears dense and long, presumably with a lot of undercoat.
- The individual hairs are sable (ie. red base with black tip).
- Noticable receding hairline has left growth on the ears sparse.
- Slight greying of the hairs is apparent.

With this new data, we can create a precise appareance for our culprit. We are looking for a medium to large sized dog. The pedigree appears to be a mixture of at least two breeds, both with long dense haircoat. One may be of a herding breed, due to the tipped hair type. Breeds possible for this combination would include German Shepherd Dogs, Collies, Belgian Tervurens, and Shetland Sheepdogs. We are probably looking for a dog over the age of 9, which fits with the slight greying and thinning of hair.

Receding Hair Line!? Slight Greying!? Who'dve thunk all that info would have been found in just a silly photograph.

Troop, I think you're in the clear. Although you fit the age profile, the solid black fur will get you off without a lawyer...

The authorities are currently compiling a list of suspects based on the DNA evidence supplied by the photograph. The search is on for a long haired sable pup, currently living in Pennsylvania who is at least 9 years of age. The authorities are figureing that the pup will be very athletic for their age, and depending on search results may cap the age at 12. Please stay tuned for further developments. Any pup with any information leading to this arrest will be amply rewarded with biscuits.
