Hey everyone,
I know the AKC standard is something like 8-11lbs, but how big is your Brussels Griffon actually?
Lola is now 4 1/2 lbs at 4 months and the vet says he thinks she's close to finished. But then I've met a couple of Griff owners who think otherwise.
Let's compare!
Also, are your Griffs wild and crazy 2 leg walkers/dancers, too?

Hi! Ho! Lola,
Mom says that most of the Griffies she knows aren`t done growing that young. My relatives and I slow down growing at about 7-8 months then grow slowly till we reach our adult heights, usually 10-12 months. After that we fill out, bulk up, and get heavier while our heads change. They get rounder and larger especially us boys.
The weights, and ages of the herd are below. I listed them from biggest to smallest for you...

Grampa Gabe is old, he`s 11 and is 12.2 pounds. He`s in correct weight. : )
Momma Edna is 7, and is 12 pounds. She`s dieting and a little pudgy. : (
Uncle Cliffie is 3, and 11.6 pounds. Also dieting and more than a little pudgy. : (
Uncle Chester is 7 and finally got up to 8 pounds. He`s in correct weight. : )
Me, I`m a year old, 9 pounds, and perfect weight. ; )
Little Sister Elvira is a year old too weighs 7.8 pounds. She needs a little more weight, or to quit chasing the cats so much. ; )
Me and Vy have weighed about the same weights we are now since we were 8 months old, but are still filling out.
I hope this helps! Have a purty week!!

moses yo-yos between 7 3/4 - 9 lbs. he reached his full weight at around a year old. he topped out at 12 or 13 lbs before he was diagnosed with his thyroid condition. now that he's older he tends to stay down at the lower end of his range.

Mac is almost nine months and 5.5 pounds, so he's on the small side. But he's got some growing left to do.

Kuma is about 11lbs. His weight is just right. He can't gain any more weight or else he will become overweight. No idea how big he is. We got him at 6-months-old and he has not gotten bigger. It seems like I can expect that his head shape will change and his body will fill up a little. Right now, his legs are very long, like a little teenage dog.
