Hi everyone! What a great idea for a group! I found this group on my pal Rascal's page. I'm Kasey and I'm from northeast Pennsylvania and I've been camping at Slumber Valley in Meshoppen, PA.

Hey everyone, Brillo and crew from Las Vegas, NV. We Rv and tent camp all over the west. We love the California Delta and Clear Lake the best ..... also Lake Mead and Mohave which are nearby. We are fishing fools... we like those slimey green "Big mouth" bass.

Hi , I'm from California. Lucy and I like to go camping in the desert.
During the summer we go camping to the river and the beach. On New Years we are going camping in the desert with some friends.

Hi - I'm from Minnesota. We go camping in Southern MN in the bluffs of the Mississippi. My favorite place to camp is Frontenac State Park. They have LOTS of beautiful walking trails, and we tent camp in the walk in sites. When I'm really lucky, we'll hike out early in the morning to see the sunrise, when presumably no campers or more importantly park rangers are around - and I'll get to sneak some off leash time. *shhhhh. shh We love the walk-in or cart-in sites because they are almost always isolated from other campers, my parents and their friends can be a little louder, stay up a little later, and I don't need a tether. This upcoming summer, I'm getting my own dog backpack or saddlebags so we can go on longer hikes and bring some water for me. I am super excited because huskies are meant for carrying stuff, and I need a challenge. We're going to try camping some new places in MN this summer, including Split Rock, and maybe somewhere in WI.

Hi Kasey!

Where's Meshoppen, PA?

We live in the Northeast too...upstate/central New York state. We usually camp in Ithaca, generally at Taughannock Falls State Park or Buttermilk Falls. Last Labor Day, we did take a trip to the Adirondacks, and had a great time!

We just camped at Beaver Creek Valley State Park in Southeast MN -- they have some nice walk-in sites, and a good trail system -- though some are pretty steep. There is a nice icy cold spring fed stream that runs through the park - perfect for a dog to wade and splash in to cool off.
