Maya is a pain in the butt, but I love her to death! Just this morning she got under the bed and wouldn't come out because she knew I had to leave and put her in the kennel! So smart. She loves adults. I've been trying to get her used to kids because she seems to be afraid of them and tries to hide behind me, it's so cute. My parents live next to an elementry school so sometimes I take her outside and let her watch the kids pass and only let them pet her if she comes to them. She's not quite used to everything outdoors yet. She treats everyone like they are her best friends and she hasn't seen them in ages. And no one can help but love her to death! My first Malamute, (although I think she might be a mix) , I don't think I'll ever go back to any other breed. I've had some cool dogs in my life but Maya is the most loyal companion ever, even as a puppy!! I believe she is the PERFECT puppy! She doesn't tear up anything but her own toys and she was potty trained within the first month we had her. More like two weeks after we got her I think it was. Her only problem is not listening to me when I tell her to come, but then, she is a malamute!!
