Zack eats Solid Gold Barking at the Moon--grain free, and no rosemary!Finding a food without that is challenging, but after hunting,I found Fromm Surf and Turf--also grain and rosemary free, and tasty,I hear! If you're looking at Big Bites, you'd laugh at the Fromm kibbles, they are the size of raisinettes--Zack says that helps them go down real easy--he likes that Fromm a lot

Dahlia

Gone, But Not- Forgotten.

Barked: Sun Mar 22, '09 9:59am PST
Dahlia is on TOTW for five months now. I chose it b/c it's grain-free, higher protein, and no rosemary. The vet doesn't think rosemary is a trigger, but we're not taking any chances. (b'sides, the vet, like most, pushes Hills Science......)

I avoid rosemary too
Ziggy

Woo woo woo!

Barked: Wed May 27, '09 11:44am PST
Ziggy's seizure on Saturday evening was about 2 hours after I had given her some of Lexi's kibble as treats - little did I realize at the time that Lexi's food (Nature's Variety Prairie) has rosemary in it! That is the only thing I can think of that could have been a trigger that time around!

Ziggy eats Wellness Simple Food Solutions Rice and Venison, mixed with Innova canned 95 percent beef or 95 percent venison food. Is this a complete enough diet for her? I don't know where to begin as far as adding anything else! The only treats we allow at this point are Wellness Wellbars (sweet potato and whitefish) or Wellness Pure Rewards jerky treats. The jerky has garlic and chicory root in it - is garlic OK? What exactly is chicory root?
