It`s only hair, even if your Mom does goof up a few times it grows back, and she can try again. Mom doesn`t strip any of us unless they`re gonna get shown, She just shaves all of the Hairy Butts. It`s quicker and less stressful on everyone. If you`re going to show everyone has to either learn how to strip, find someone els to do it, or show only us Smoothies! We`re drip dry, wash and wear!dancing
Good luck!

my mommy doesn't strip me either. She just once a month goes and gets me shaved..I like it because my hair dresser does my hair and then I get the hair drier.I love the hair drier..
{mommie here}--But I will say this if you want soft hair shave.. But if you dont, you have to strip.Because sence i've been shavinghim , he's gotten very tan and little red hair but its very soft..I can tell you next month what it looks like growing out.Because I will not shave him during the winter months..I will just use a brush..hug

Grooming help, Before we got Brutus I just went to the pet store and got some books about Brussels Griffons. They were helpful.
But you should find a good groomer who has done Griffons before. Brutus looks better when we leave short eye brows. But some people like the top of their Griffons head cut really short.
She's your pretty girl so have it done the way you like. She is really a beauty.

Kuma

Kuma's hair is growing long again, which is perfect for the winter time. We'll probably strip him again around February/March when the weather gets a little bit warmer. In the meanwhile, I rake (spelling?) his hair with a stripping knife or a flea comb to take out the under coat and I trim his hair around his face, belly and tail areas. He looks so adorable all fluffy. He really lives up to his teddy bear name. I'll probably keep stripping him for as long as he can stand. I love the color and I love the savings for me. After February/March, our next strip probably will be in August/September 2008.
