 |  |  |  | Hi everyone! We're glad you decided to join our group. We thought we should provide you with a little information to help orient yourself to this new Group. If you have any questions or ideas for things you'd like to see Downtown, this is the place to post them. Please refrain from posting conversations in this thread.

1. Your City Council consists of Dylan, Rilie, and Schumi.
2. If you would like to open a business or public location, please submit a pmail to City Council (see The Rules thread) first.
3. If you know a dog who you think would be a great fit for our Group, please pmail a member of City Council with the dog's name and Dogster number.
4. If you have a wedding or birthday coming up, please let one of the City Council know so we can post it for you. If you are a business owner and are having an event, please pmail us a description and we would be happy to add it to the event calendar on the front page.
5. If you have photos or videos you from an event or for a contest you would like added to the front page of the Group, please pmail City Council.
6. Every 2 months a new Mayor will be elected. Campaigning will be allowed for exaclty 7 days, after which voting will occur and the winner will be announced. Please watch for posts announcing upcoming elections.
7. Every month, a different business or public place (i.e. beach or park) will be voted as Business of the Month. Members will be asked to vote for their favourite place that month during a three day period, at the end of which the winner will be announced.
