 | |  | | Back in December, Max's Mom, told me that Annie had originally belonged to a very old woman and somehow was let outside when she wasn't home and, as a pup, wandered off.
Recently, my nextdoor neighbor went to the ER. When the ambulence pulled up in front of our house with all its lights flashing and beeping, my usually laid-back Annie was woofing like a guard dog. When I came from another part of the house to see what the problem was, she blocked my way to the door and laid down in front of it. She wasn't going to let me out!  So I grabbed her leash to take her out on the driveway with me while I spoke with my neighbor's relative. Annie stopped barking but she stuck to me like glue and even sat on my feet while we were talking. When we went back in the house, she followed me around and it was about 3 days before she was her normal self. Then I remembered what Max and Boo's mom told me in her reading last Dec. (posted earlier in this thread). It makes sense and reaffirmed what probably happened! |  |  | |  |
