Do You Go To The Groomer?

	Hi-Are you all purebreds or double pedigree, like me? I'm part Bearded Collie too-so I would be a very furry girl if my Mom let me grow all my fur out. We might try that again this winter. Dave the Grroomer keeps giving me Teddy bear cuts which keep me cool and comfortable in FL. Mom would like to try to keep me trimmed herself in between "stylings" but is hesitant to try. How do you stay lookin' good?

	I also live in FL and get very hot in the summer. I go to the groomer every 4-6 weeks. Right now I have a pretty short haircut, but I will probably get to grow my hair out over the fall/winter. Going to the groomer is one of my favorite things to do!! My parents are not brave enough to cut my hair!

	Hi-We FL dogs have a tough time with full coats in the summer. I went to Dave the Grroomer yesterday and this time, instead of a "Lab cut" which was too short but cool for June and July, I got a Poodle puppy cut which left me with about 1" all over, except my Teddybear face, but we got the hair out of my eyes. I'm starting to get a lot of white/silver on my forelegs and tail and there's some strange spots of white between my eyes and on my back. But when I get groomed, I'm all black with white hairs again. What's up with that-I'm only 2 yrs old!

	I'm not QUITE sure what a "double pedigree" dog is...but I'm a purebred! I get sent to the groomer's once every month or so... But I get bathed at home after muddy days at the park! Just buy the shampoo and conditioner at any pet store... Here's the brand I use: Perfect Coat Also, buy a brush to comb any mats that begin to form... That's the best way to keep me clean! PS. Some wheaten owners like to use Whitening Shampoo for the coats...Holly likes being a dirty blonde, so I leave her be!

	Thanks for the tips, Holly! Double pedigree was just Mom's kidding about my being a Beardie/s'wheatie mix, BOL. It does make for some interesting traits-all good ones. Mom says I'm the almost perfect dog-we're still working on a few things leftover from my time before Mom rescued me. Hopefully, we will come to an understanding about those real soon!

	hi pups! here in indiana it gets chilly in the winter, so mom and dad let my coat grow out some. they love it when i'm fuzzy! once, my dad decided to groom me with scissors....i loved it cause my hair was really short. mom did not like it....she said dad made me look uneven and clumpy. here's a question.....one of my doggy friends (he's a lab mix) uses human shampoo and conditioner. isn't that bad for dogs? we weren't sure....but i always use the doggy variety. thanks to all you good lookin' wheaties!

	I go to the groomer about every 2 months i get my hair cut real short cause it grows back real fast. My groomer Tanya loves me every time i come in to see her she says her is the big boy. I love seeing all the different dogs that are getting there hair cut to

	My groomer comes to me! I get so excited when I see Lucien pull up in her "Fido Loves Fifi" mobile pet grooming van. Everybody notices how pretty I am when I come out with my bows and bandana. I smell good too. Lucien comes every other month. It's not cheap, but hey, how much does Mommy pay for her own haircut, amnicure and pedicure?
