Easy, Cheap but Loving Gift for a Friend

Hi All - Save all those little boxes that your earrings, bracelets and trinkets come in.

Take the little boxes and wrap them in tissue paper or any paper you wish.

Take some wired ribbon and make a bow around the box after carefully putting the attached words that you can type on any paper. If you have the capability of putting hearts or smiles or something as a border, that's cool. I don't so I just attach the words.



This is a very special gift
That you can never see
The reason it’s so special is
It’s just for you from me.

Whenever you are lonely
Or are ever feeling blue
You only have to hold this gift
And know I’m hugging you.

You never can unwrap it
Please leave the ribbon tied
Just holding the box close to your
heart
It’s filled with hugs inside.


It's a lovely, little quick gift to give someone in need, someone going thru something hard or just cause you care. My sister originally sent it to me and I've sent it to others who mean alot to me and they have loved receiving it as well.

Who does not need a daily hug?

That's a great reminder. I've seen these over the years, too. It's a great little sentiment and the little box can rest on your desk or dresser or anywhere that you can see if frequently and think of how sweet the sender was, and how lucky you are to have a friend like that! I keep special greeting cards displayed close by for the same reason. Thanks!

I love the idea. There's been many times when I wanted to give something special, but couldn't think of anything. Go to the Dog Lovers Blog. Lucy the Shih Tzu has a story similar to this in her diary. I'd make a link but I'm not qualified.
