 | | | | This is how I came to live with my Mommy and Daddy:
They had been talking about getting a puppy for the longest time, because their oldest Human son was starting to act scared of dogs cause he wasn't around them. They found an add in the paper for yellow labs. They called the number and talked to my dog mom's breeder. She told them there was only one puppy left, but that they could come and look at her (me) if they wanted. My mommy said, no they didn't need to come look, they'd buy me right then. The breeder acted all surprised that they would buy me without coming to see me. She said I was a runt. My mommy told her that they weren't looking for a show dog, they just wanted a family fur baby. Well, a day later this van pulls up and this really nice lady gets out with this guy and two kids. I was drawn to her, and ran right up to give her kissses. Turns out, it was my new mommy!! My pup bros and sisses and I were 3 days shy of being 8 weeks, but they let me go home with my new family anyway. I was the last to be picked, but the first to go home. And now noone ever believes my mommy when she says I was the runt of the litter. BoL!! I've been with my family ever since, and my oldest human brother just loves me and isn't afraid of dogs anymore
I got my name because of my coat color. Mommy had been calling me Baby girl, cause she couldn't think of a name. Finally she realized that my coat color is a natural honey color. (My dog mom is a red coat yellow lab and my dog dad is a yellow coat yellow lab) So, I became Hunnie Girl
