I love to go to the beach and I run way out in the water and get my ball and surf the waves back!! I also like to jump in the pool (if we get to go to our friends house) and it the ball!! It's all about the ball in water and out of water!!! Check out my page and you'll see!!
Ocean, lake, stream, pool, water bowl, garden hose, bol! Any chance I have to get wet, I take it. I love the ocean, that's the part of Florida I miss! I love to retrieve things too. I will play fetch with anything, but my favorite thing is a tennis ball.
I like to play fetch in the pool. Since I live in Florida the ponds have hidden things that like to eat dogs! So I stay in the pool. I like to swim when I am stressed or just to play. When I am done fetching I bring my ball out of the pool and take it far away from my Mom. She finally gets the hint! My favorite part is shaking off all the water on some unsuspecting person!
Maybe I am a retreiver in hiding.... I love running straight into the waves and ocean.. then I like to run as fast down the beach as I can and then do it over and over again...
My mom throws a frisbee really far and I go get it. But I might not be able to anymore because the park rangers where mom takes me may change their minds about dogs on the beach.
I'm a member with Bay Families with Dogs (www.bayfwd.org) in Panama City, FL. We are currently battling to retain our access to a barrier island that we have been visiting for decades with our families. The island is a patchwork of federal, state and privately-owned land, and we are advocating for a small portion of this huge island to be designated "dog-friendly." Our local newspaper is doing a web poll at
www.newsherald.com (scroll down and the poll will be on the lower right part of the page)
through June 4. Won't you please weigh in on the side of allowing our dogs to visit the island with us? If we get it through, then you can come visit us and play with us at the island!
