I feed Elvis Wellness Large Breed Puppy food... It's all natural, no corn or other fillers. It also contains no byproducts and its USDA approved... It's has minimal calcium & phosphorus which is great for controlling bone growth in large breeds... It's pretty expensive but well worth it.

I love that this thread was started almost a year ago but we're still responding smile Hahaha hopefully someone is getting good advice!

My Katie ate Purina Pro Plan Giant Breed Puppy but I can't say that I was in love with it. I AM in love with her adult food though.

She eats Innova Large Breed. It's completely holistic, tasty and with it I've managed to keep her up to a decent weight. She is extremely petite for a Dane and yes Danes are skinny while still growing but I got dirty looks and remarks about starving my dog when she was young! She's currently about 92lbs (like I said- petite for a Dane! lol) and it seems to be a good weight for her bone structure.

Katie and I give 5 stars to Innova Large Breed.

Havoc eats Innova large breed puppy. He was on Eagle pack holistic but he could not gain weight on it and he did not seem to want to eat it and he had soft stool. Now he eats like crazy and is putting on weight so he looks healthy and he has big boy poop.

Raw here.

p.s. if your dane is still growing (a pup), it's best to keep them lean and trim. should see the last rib. if you can't see it, dane is overweight. for the health of the dog, please do not overfeed looking for the biggest dog or dane. it could affect their bones, growth, and other things.
