What breed is my pup?

I adopted my dog two months ago from a shelter where he was listed as "shepherd mix". We want to know what he's mixed with. We've been guessing rottweiller? Here is a link to some photos:

H e is very very sweet to us, but aggressive towards strangers and other dogs. He loves being outside, and tends to run away (ten times in two months!) He's very smart, we've been able to teach him sit, stay, shake and he's learning lay down.

What do you guys think??

I would probably guess German Shepherd x Lab. Do you have any full body shots where he's standing up?

You might want to see a trainer/behaviorist about the aggression. Human aggression especially can be pretty serious.

How is he getting out to run away? If he's escaping the yard, I would definitely look for the weak spots and try to fix them so he can't get out. Particularly if he's dog and human aggressive, you really don't want him out unsupervised. If he's picked up by AC you could be fined, especially if it happens multiple times. He could attack and kill someone else's dog, and if he bites a person, he could be euthanized. Plus all the normal dangers like being hit by a car.
