|Well, after reading this I am so disheartened. I realize all you guys are probably from great "stock" and I congratulate you for that. However, me and my brother Buddy are rescued Springers. I had a terrible life for the first 2 years of my life then Mom came along and took me out of a shelter. I've been with her almost 9 years now. I am the typical loving, good-natured Springer! It's amazing how forgiving a pup can be. Buddy is also a Springer adopted twice! Thank goodness he found us! He is rambuctious, happy and quite the character. He's been with us 7 yrs!
If you look at the Springers in rescue, they so desperately need homes. There are males and females and all are in foster and should have great temperments or they wouldn't be adopted out.
We are huge supporters of ESRA (English Springer Rescue) and it never hurts to take a look! Also, if there aren't any close they will always work something out with transport after your approved.
Good luck finding your puppy, but please give rescue another consideration?
