|You will need to use bleach. That’s the only thing strong enough to kill the virus. Personally, I don’t like using bleach, but I can’t think of anything better. Here is a good link for you:
A friend of mine adopted two Parvo Pug puppies off of Craigslist and the vet killed one of them. These puppies had already had 3 rounds of the parvo vaccines. She took them to the vet, but the vet only made it much worse. The antibiotics he gave the puppies caused severe diarrhea. During a plasma transfusion one pup developed severe hives. The poor thing couldn’t stop itching. The pup died and my friend took the other pup home to treat him herself and the puppy lived. It took about 2 weeks before the pup was fully healed. She never vaccinated him for parvo again and he’s been very healthy since.
You will need to clean your home thoroughly. The entire house must be cleaned. It’s a very contagious illness. It’s more contagious to dogs with a weakened immune system. There are products you can use to kill parvo that are not made with bleach, but they are even harsher, so I would use the bleach, if I were you.
