When we had a litter of foster puppies we started using vinegar and you couldn't tell (most days) that we had 8 poop and pee factories in the house.

It is the only think we use for accidents and it's fine on hardwood floors.

For "sterilizing" we use bleach.

I put vinegar in the wash to eliminate odors and to help dog hair release from fabrics. It really works!

blue dog Hi Try with equal amounts of water and vinegar (1/2 + 1/2) you can also add a little eucalyptus or wintergreen oil to the mix. For a clean smell but the vinegar solution by itself works well. The sharp vinegar smell goes off once it has dried up
