Hello all! New here... So new that my mommy hasn't even brought me home yet smile

I will be home on Mother's day... yay... I can't wait!

Anyways... Mom's kinda busy getting everything ready at home and was wondering what size collar she should order.

I told her she should wait til I get home and try them on first but she buys everything online and wants it to get here before I do.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what size to buy...what kind is best? She was thinking of a gentle leader or a martingale?!

Any ideas?

What a little cutie you're going to be! I had a collar & leash for Mia long before she came home. But a regular harness is much better for small puppies. (Don't worry about any non-pulling harnesses yet)

Every Pup needs a good old flat buckle collar with identification tags for everyday life. A small inexpensive adjustable is good for the first few months. Martingales and harnesses are training tools, and best to wait until she is more mature to invest in them and super cute collars. Were in Ontario toowave Enjoy your new pup! The wait for my aussie seemed like forever! Especially after you see themblue dog

Thank you both for the advice...

I decided to settle for a small buckle collar with an ID tag for the meantime... and a harness for the walks. Which I will probably buy when she gets home for a proper fit.

Desoto... you're so right about the wait. Ever since the visit to her kennel I can't stop thinking about her. I want her home now... I'm just as bad as my 4 year old daughter begging to go pick her up every night...lol

Well worth the wait I'm sure big grin
