Trying to understand the becoming more aggressive thing..

I agree with everybody that aggression isn't a given with any breed. Socializing is definitely the most important thing. You have a puppy so anywhere you can go to meet other people,dogs,children is great!
Dog parks are kind of hit or miss. I would research any dog park without the dog first.
Bulls aren't "naturally" dog aggressive but they are strong n' can play more roughly than other dogs. Also as is commonly said they might not start a fight but they will probably finish it, so you want to protect them from such a situation.
Perhaps safer is a playgroup with friends and dogs you know. Even then bullies need to be always closely supervised for their own protection and the other dogs.
