I gulp my water

Sadie gulps her water to the point where if we don't make her stop or if we don't burp her she will throw it up (and any food she has in her stomach) If we burp her or make her take a break she will be fine. Anybody else have this problem?? Milo drinks alot at one time too and if he starts to play he'll throw up the water all over his toy. I don't like yelling at them to stop drinking, but i really hate cleaning up slimy water.

My pitbull girl doesnt do this, howver, my dalmation did. Just let her drink abit then back her off from it and say slow down, then let her at it againfew seconds later. Then take it away or keep her away. It will take time but after this you'll only have to say slow down and she will stop doing it. Patience my dear. smile

My dog does this sometimes. Usually it happens when she has come in from playing or walking. I've learned that dogs shouldn't eat or drink anything right after they have been playing/on a walk. They need to cool down first. It seems to have worked for me. When we get in from a walk or playtime she doesn't even drink anything right away, she just finds a cool place to lay down.
