I'M SO SILLY!

Jake - that's funny, because that actually happened to my Mom a year ago! Her friend's pit bull hit her in the face with her snout, not on purpose either. She didn't break my Mom's nose but it did cause my Mom to bleed a lot and she passed out from it. I guess us dogs have to be careful when licking our humans' faces, our noses must be really hard!

On that note.... Mom's last dog, the big 110 pounder, was running around the house one day just for fun and he ran smack dab into her leg with his head. He was not phased at all but poor Mom got the worst bruise she has ever had in her life! It took months to go away and even now, years later, there's a wierd kind of bruise scar from where he ran into her. She said it was pure black, 5 inches high and as wide as her leg... and everywhere she went people asked her if she was a battered woman, for real, it looked THAT bad.

Lucky, I have run into the door before and made mom really laugh. Did you think if you bumped the screen enough times it would open on its own?

Kitai - You and I aren't big enough to do much damage to our mom's heads! But you could try tripping her - I tripped Mom and she hit a wall and broke her toe, BOL. I felt kinda of bad after I did it because she was hopping around and cussing about how bad it hurt.

I think maybe I don't realize the screen is there... I did it again this afternoon. I'll never learn I guess!

Hey Lucky!
Don't worry about your little problem with the screen....I did the same thing over and over and over again one day right after my Mom had just finished telling her friends how smart I am. Oh and then my other embarrasing moment. Mom has a mirror in the living room (where I spend most of my time) and I walk by it all the time and even look at myself in it and most of the time I don't even notice it, but one day, I looked in the mirror and forgot it was me. I watched the "other doggie" looking at me and making all the same moves I was and went nuts. I attacked the doggie I saw in the mirror and when I ran at it full force and barking I got ready to jump up to meet the other doggie and I ran headfirst right into the mirror and bounced back off of it. Mom was worried because I looked dazed, but then I did the same thing again. Mom picked up the mirror and tried to put it away and I fought with it the whole way into the closet. She had lots of friends over that day and they all thought it was hilarious. She has a hard time convincing her friends I'm as smart as she says I am since everytime she brags about me I seem to do something silly that makes her look like she's lying.

Lucky - you should ask your mom to put something on the screen at your height. Maybe you just can't see the screen. Or she could get you glasses - you would look cute with glasses, BOL.

Stella - my mom laughed a long time at your entry. Your mom should tell everyone you are very smart but just a silly dog. That way when you do something like that she can just say you are being silly.
