DarlaMae, you don't need to apologize at all. We had 13 wonderful years with Cali and only a few bad days at the end. I just think it's sad that the dog's vet is telling the owner that they can cure that type of cancer with surgery and radiation. Our vets all told us the surgery would almost certainly cause incontinence and the radiation would only provide temporary relief That was a few years ago, so maybe the technology has improved. I think it would help a great deal to cut the fur extremely short near where the mess is, though and try to give something to help with the diarrhea.
Took Roper and Garrett for a long walk and to the dog park, and Roper did amazingly well! Kolton has been taking more responsibility to walk him, and it has made a difference. I do think Garrett was a good influence, too. We will be picking Na'vi up in a couple weeks, and he'll stay for about a month. It will be a real Aussie party out here for that month!! Anyone want to come visit?
