 | | | | Morning all, S*S glad your CAT scan results were found and it is disappointing when there is no reason - I know what you mean. Can it be excess water retention? Women sometimes do retain more water, and as we mentioned the morning Talk show host we listen to daily, had excess fluid and was causing terrible headaches.
He had a spinal tape - was very clear that it did not hurt, was not scary and did relieve his symtoms and he has had no more headaches.
He mentioned it the other day again, so just a thought maybe to google fluid retention/headaches and see if maybe even Lasik or similar medicine, might help? Certainly not a doctor here but listing things we have heard that may help.
Abby is still a little 'iffy' we are being careful what she eats and she is sleeping alot though, thank you for all the wonderful messages and wishes for her 2nd birthday. She is a good girl and has calmed down, and loves Sarge, licks his face and ears!
Crew, thank you for the sweet little girl picture and wishes. I know it's hard with so many Birthdays, Gotcha days, Bridge Days, to keep track of all.
Annie, how is Annie doing with her intestinal upset? And your blood pressure meds - you said you are staying put on them. Did the rain stop so you can check the backyard? I remember you writing about fatigue and that struck a bell here - I get up in the morning, feeling like I never even went to bed and also in alot of muscle pain. The mattress is a good one, but maybe just old age setting in - no spring chick here at 64 just an old hen.
Next week is the annual physical and I'll go over the blood work with the dr. - some levels - ie. thyroid, blood levels, are way different from the years before. We have a MyChart and all our tests are available on it - back 2003 - and also can make appts. order meds, message the doctor. It's a great thing and sure it frees the office up. They have cut back to a few nurses/staff helping several doctors now.
Hugs to Scooter, know you are enjoying the weather - River, we are just so sorry for your loss. How wonderful you were able to see Buddy on your trip.
Flickamom, wow what an undertaking and that is so nice they felled the tree perfectly - the machinery - sorry that it has rutted up your beautiful yard and will them come and grade it and seed it for you? They do that here, especially as we are on the corner - the snowplows totally dig our corner up every year as there are no curbs on our lot - but they do come back and make it look nice again. The monument will start soon - once all freeze is past and it still isen't totally off the weather scan.
Tonkamom, now is Garrett the trainer's doggy? I am confused (what else is new ) and you will be taking him to be one of your pack Sorry that I can't keep things straight lately. How is your back - are you seeing the massage therapist? Did the new groomer come on the job yet?
News from Angels Kubbi and Brandibear mom - they are getting a brother ChowChow for Toffi, who is already 3 years old. She is still riding but not her own horse at the time, as hurt her back.
Just thinking of Buddy, and then we realized there were other friend's we didn't realize were at the bridge as we read the comments - bless them all - since October 2005, we have been blessed to know so many great families, where else does that happen - it is truly something to be cherished
DarlaMae, will you have a Mother's Day celebration with your family? Having them near is so nice - and I didn't realize there were many who are living close to you, how about Daddy's family?
Tom's sister's husband will be 70 on Mother's Day - his sisters (3) and daughters and son are planning a party in an indoor pavillion for him and for Mothers Day as well - basically the Grandmother's. Will be a big 'do' and friends from all over.
Hugs to Jenna, how are things going with all the tips and suggestions? Wishing we could send you this wonderful mattress, but it is sort of bulky. The jugged water is a good thing, nothing to filter through the kidneys. I pretty much only drink water.
Going to the Hospice Volunteer lunch today at a nice place with lovely grounds - a Grove. Have been to weddings there and a shower, was pretty in the Spring.
We have 2 weddings - 2 showers - coming up. Tom's birthday weekend we'll be watching the 3 doggies of Courtney and Tom - 2 Poms and the long hair Chi - and they are so funny! When you have these big dogs and then go there and 3 together wouldn't make a Sarge!
Have a good day - glad that Dorothy is back to work - and also prayers for Cindy's husband. Our vet tech's husband we wrote, had collapsed last week and ended up having the triple bypass. He is a fairly young guy and in good shape, you never know.Edited by author Wed Apr 18, '12 3:37am PST
