Ok so........ The other day me and one of my friends were talking and my friend who owns dash hounds or wienner dogs. My friend brought up the AKC ( Amarican Kennel Club) She said they got a few new breeds in the AKC but sadly she could not remmber which breeds they were. Do you know which breeds they are at all??

As of June 2011, the AKC gave full recognition to the following breeds:

American English Coonhound, Finnish Lapphund, and Cesky Terrier.

But in 2011, 6 breeds total were given full recognition. Besides the 3 above, there is also the Norwegian Lundehund, the Xoloitzcuintli, and the Entlebucher Mountain Dog which were given the status earlier in the year.

Did they end up adding the Caucasian Shepherd? I don't think these guys will make nice show dogs, way too sharp for my liking.
