Snoozin' in my

Greetings fellow Shibas! Name is Bear, currently residing with Betsy and Kaida. Momma is taking good care of me and boy I sure do like it here. All the things a dog could ever want. Food nommy nommy food! Water and Toys!!! oh boy do I ever have the toys. I found myself a nice dark area mom has nickenamed the "bear cave" and I can be found snoozing my days away there. Don't get me wrong I love my new foster family and enjoy times playing with Kaida but I do like my peace and quiet. These old bones can't play like they used to but I sure do give it my best shot.
I must hide the toys from that rotten black pup. Mom has to clear em out a few times a day because Kaida tattles on me BOL little angel

Bear has turned out to be quite a surprise coming from a mill situation. He does great with Betsy and Kaida and sometimes even instigates playtime. He does like to hoard toys away under our endtable which he had deemed his bed/zone. When he's had enough attention or is done playing with Kaida he retreats for long naps. He's such a sweetie, potty trained and gentle as can be. He loves loves loves attention. He seems to have a little separation anxiety (barks and whines if we kennel him or go outside without him) however he settles down quickly. We had trouble for a few days with him marking but we put a belly band on him and after a few days started letting him wonder around without it. So far 3 days and not once has he tried to mark. He can be a bit stubborn when we make him get back from the door, but he is doing great about listening. Its funny, if we don't let him out fast enough for his taste he will start to talk to us. smile
He's soon to be available for adoption. Other than needing to be neutered (which was done before we picked him up at the vet's) he was given a clean bill of health. No hip or knee problems and was surprisingly clean. Other than needing a good brushing, he didn't have the look or smell of a mill dog. Just thought we'd share a bit about him with our pup pals!
