I just chatted with Cindy and she is o.k. but hearing Mia scream like she did will probably always haunt her. Mia is going to the vet this afternoon to have her wounds checked as they are still leaking some fluid.

Thank you for the love you send to them both. They are super special to us.cloud 9

So sad! I been thinking about her and Mia haven't seen the owner post much lately.

I made a comment with my best wishes and hopes to hear more on Mia's condition being blind is hard enough, but to go through this so scary.

I've heard Saya screamed before when she was attacked and OMG so sad and hard to hear and watch thankfully she was unheart except for her trust in all strange dogs.. frown

Takes her longer to get used to dogs she don't know. She used to love everyone and greeted all dogs great.

Thanks for letting us know hope things go well.

Saya says she gives her best shiba hugs to Mia and her owner.

hug

Mia is doing o.k. Her drains have been removed and stitches have been placed so she stops dripping. She still has to take the valium and antibiotics, but won't share them with her Mom. confused

Being blind is hard because she can't wear the cone but she can get to the wounds. If she has the cone of shame on, the other senses she has come to rely on more (smell and sound) become distorted because of the cone. Poor baby. But as long as she's a good girl, she'll be o.k.

Mia and her Mom appreciate all your love!hug So do we!

Oh my goodness, I was so sad to read this! Mia and her mom have been so good to my questions and also when Hiro got attacked when he was a baby! I understand how both feel... it's a horrible, horrible thing. And even if the other person does everything they can, you are still angry at them and their dog... I'm so sorry this happened and I hope everything will be okay with Mia. We are sending our love and our prayers! hug

Wow. I'm not on here so much and I saw I need prayers! That Roo Crew is something else. Always looking out for other pups.

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts hug

I can say I am back in full swing finally. All the stitches and staples are out.

I don't seem to have the fear of other dogs like they thought might happen. But, my Mom sure does!!! No more big dogs around me. Come to think of it, she doesn't let me get near anything my size either. big laugh
