We think we can help you out to understand those Japanese ads.
The funniest point of these ads is the untraditional casting to the extream. Mother and Daughter are regular looking Japaese but Dad is the cream Shiba and Son is Black guy. No, this is not the case that Japanese family adoppted Black boy as their son, just the super silly casting

These ads are for the celphone provider called SoftBank.
Five dogs are having a talk in the park.
Dalmatian : How is the nunber of applicants for our cel service increasing?
One of the dogs : SoftbBank was number one even in July.
Dalmatian : What? July again?
Cream Shiba (This guy is supposed to be a father of the human family) : Finally it's happening!
Mother and Daughter are having a cup of tea at their Tokyo middle to upper middle class home.
Daughter : Mom, what dad is doing?
Mother : He is in the business meeting.
Male voice over : The number of applicants has been number one in the industry in last three months, SoftBank.
Female poodle : Shiro(means white in Japanese), phone me more and more.
Male poodle : Yes, I will definitely do so, Shiroko (names end with Ko is usally girls' name).
Female&Male : We are Shiro and Shiro, Double White.

Female : Yes!
Male voice over : More economical, Double White(the name of the calling plan).
The family members are watching the TV at their home.
Daughter : This ad does not mention that you can get 50% off rate with Double White, even when you call to someone with other providers.
Mother: Is that so?

It is so ridiculous that this Shiba sounds like a typical traditional stubborn Japanese dad which is very rare recently.

How funny that the Shiba dad looks deep deep into their eyes! I'm just glad the assessment can be a positive one. Gives me hope that Aya might be cutting me some slack now and then when she stares me down.
