Human is curious whether there are any collies from Fairbanks Farm here on Dogster. Human has a Fairbanks Farm Abyssinian named Leroy. We just heard from a new Catster friend that the breeder of Fairbanks Farm, Lisa Ale, passed away last April cry Fairbanks Farm no longer exists frown A foster person took all of the Abys and I guess is stil working with a rescue to find homes for all of them. I don't know what happened to the collies but I guess it's something similar.

I realize this is a late response but I just now saw this post. I have a Fairbanks collie, also two Abys. Lisa had some time to plan for this so all her animals are in good hands. The collies were taken in by a very close friend in Colorado - check out 8mileranch.com. I've been in contact with her and the dogs all seem to have adjusted well and are doing great.

The Abys were also taken in by a good friend, who happened to run a private rescue. It is my understanding that the kitties were all rehomed or allowed to remain with the friend for the remainder of their years.
