2010 ADOPT AND STROLL CONTEST...WINNERS' CIRCLE!!!

This is a special section for dogs needing new homes and for inspiring stories of dogs that have found their furever home through Dogster or through the love and energy of rescuers. This is also the place to discuss shelters, rescue organizations, rescue strategies, issues, solutions, etc. and how we can all help in this critical endeavor. As one of the donators to a rescue of choice for 2nd Place, Raven Tiki Mystique, chose Save Our Shepherds. When I donated to the rescue, I received a wonderful response from the organization's co-founder and wanted to share it with you. To me, this speaks volumes on the mission of our contest...And thank you Raven! Without your choice, they would not receive the extra funds!

Bless your heart! Thank you Jasmine and please extend our thanks to everyone of the dogster fans that voted in the contest! Your $60 donation couldn't come at a better time! We have a large number of dogs going through heartworm treatment and also recently took in a 14 week old puppy that had been hit by a car. Poor little BuddyBoy suffered both back legs broken and a degloved front paw. Poor fella has been at the vets for nearly 3 weeks, so you can just imagine what that vet bill we be, what with specialists and physical therapy and two surgeries. YIKES!.

Thanks again for all you do!
