today i am going to an event called
maddie's pet rescue project adopt-a-thon

they will have animals from shelters all over buffalo there for adoption, they will have agility demo's,
free behavioral advice, animal "readers", prizes, food, and a bunch of local pet related vendors, and more.

their goal is to decrease the amount of healthy and otherwise adoptable pets being put to sleep just because there is no room in shelters for them. check out the site.
