Dear Friends:
My name is Penny. I'm a shelter dog
available to rescue only
I'm lab/pit bull mix (probably, not sure)
I was starving and had embedded collar wounds when
they took me to the shelter.
I'm mostly healed.
but my time is up. September 18 is my last day, I guess
I was on dogster for almost a month.
Nobody wants me. I wish you well.
I'm a big, black, rambunctious joyful dog!

I'm a good example of what happens to unwanted dogs
once they get past their adorable puppydom age.
If you are a 501c3 rescue and you want to rescue me
call NOW (September 18, Monday). I am too energetic for a home w. small children. I'm untrained, but friendly and joyful. I jump on people. I'm curious about everything.

My friend who placed my ad here, she also placed it in the Washington Post! earlier this month. but no one called.
so this is goodbye and thanks for looking at me, at least.

Now, what do I do. Do they just delete me off of dogster. Is there a place for my memorial?
