Anyone hear of Guide Dogs of Texas?

The Service and Therapy Dog forum is for all service and therapy dogs regardless of whether or not their status is legally defined by federal or state law, how they are trained, or whether or not they are "certified." Posts questioning or disputing a person's need for a service or therapy dog, the validity of a person's service or therapy dog, or the dog's ability to do the work of a service or therapy dog are not permitted in this forum. Please keep discussions fun, friendly, and helpful at all times.

Just wondering if anyone's heard of 'em. Good? Bad? Know anyone with a dog from them? Or anyone that works there?

I'm really familiar with most guide dog schools, but not GDTx! From what I know of them, they're fairly new (at least compared with the more established, well-known ones) and only recently started their own breeding program. I think that was last year, or two years ago, or something like that.

I don't know any grads from there, nor do I know any trainers, so I can't give you any more info than that. Sorry!

(I do, however, have quite a bit of info on some other guide schools; just let me know if you're interested in it.)
