First of all NONE OF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ME OR MY DOGS! Second of all I NEVER said Cheveyo would become a Service Dog! I had asked if what he did as a young pup would be considered an alert if it was done by an older dog. Katana might have spent some time on a tie out before we moved to where we are now where he had a fenced in yard to run in. Cheveyo also has a run area. Yes he was on a chain at first until I got his run put up. My hubby is now without his Service Dog because it pains me to announce that Katana has crossed the Bridge. I found him laying on the floor of his room yesterday morning when I went to get him for his walk. We are heart broken and our house seems to be so empty without the big man.

We know what you tell us. I am very sorry about Katana. When I used the word "was" I was not referring to his demise, but to the fact that he had performed marvels of obedience and had great success as a service dog...

As informed by you.

You do seem to have terrible luck with dogs. How is Maggie doing?

Maggie is doing ok she has been having a lot of good days. We are all struggling to get used to not having Katana around now. Maggie misses her "boyfriend" those two were thicker than thieves. He was her watch dog when she would have a seizure,he would lay beside her until he knew that she was fully out of the seizure. His loss has left a large and gaping hole in my chest, when he wasnt working Katana was my buddy always my shadow. I miss him every moment. Tank seems to know that he has to step up and fill some big paw prints when it comes to helping his dad not only deal with Katana's passing but also with chilling out after classes.
