I find this super frustrating!

	I will take polite people over the people I was dealing with today while waiting at DHS. One lady told her kids to stay away from the dog cause it will bite them. I politely asked her to not try to scare her kids from assistance dogs as they don't bite. In retrospect I should have gone for the old He won't bite but I may. We also heard seeing eye dog on our way in. At least I give him credit for trying.

	Odin- While it may sound offensive to you the mother may have just told her children that to prevent them from bothering you. Similarly when I went into a restaurant a mother told her daughter that the gentle leader around Samson's snout was a muzzle and "he can't open his mouth except to breath". At first I thought, oh how naive, and then I understood, the mother was probably just trying to ensure her daughter wouldn't be afraid of the big black dog near her. Sometimes parents say little stories to appease their naive children's curiosity.

	I usually don't mind if people ask me questions about Sita or SDs in general. I like educating people. It's when people point us out & make me feel like a freak that I get upset.
