We finally figured out the whole, bumping thing, and we are glad to help keep this discussion going, but I really wanted to tell you about our favorite raw food mix, "Pepperdogz" they have buffalo and turkey and chicken mixed with lots of great vegies. Now Moms also adds bean and rice and egg and sweet potatoes and fruits but just by itself, this product is great and approved by the FDA.
Unfortunatelay it may be expensive if you are a big dog and need lots but the ingredients are regular stuff you could mix yourself.
That is our breakfast, for dinner we get necks or sardines or organs or lamb (when moms is feeling rich and guilty at the same time)
We have been eating raw for about seven years and we are very healthy nine year old hounds.And moms says she is thrilled to see so many pups getting to eat raw and a variety of good foods!
We also add Solid Gold sea meal, brewers yeast and flax seed oil for suppliments. Very important because the world we live in is still not as nutrient rich as it used to be, at least that is what moms thinks.
