Advice for puppy nipping

Got a new, young, furry love in your life? This is the place for you to ask all of your questions-big or small! Just remember that you are receiving advice from other dog owners and lovers... not professionals. If you have a major problem, always seek the advice of a vet or behaviorist! Most important is to remember to have fun with your new fur baby.

I'm a princess
Barked: Sat Jan 19, '13 3:58pm PST
My puppies were only 5 weeks old when we got them (their mother was also a stray) We stopped them from biting after Petey bit my cheek and piglet bit my husbands ear. We did just what everyone else is saying gave them toys and put them in time out. By the time they were 8 weeks they had replaced biting with licking. Now if I could only get them to stop waking me up every night.
Good lucksmile
