GO!

New Puppy

Got a new, young, furry love in your life? This is the place for you to ask all of your questions-big or small! Just remember that you are receiving advice from other dog owners and lovers... not professionals. If you have a major problem, always seek the advice of a vet or behaviorist! Most important is to remember to have fun with your new fur baby.

Can you bring something home with you that has all the other puppies and moms scent on it, this may help her feel more secure right at first. Some nice calm music in the car can help too, such as spa music or classical.
We bring home our new Golden puppy on Thursday, but our trip is only about an hour, we already have the crate (big wire one) in the SUV. Her breeder is sending home a blankie with all the pups along with food she is currently eating (which we will be changing over the next 10 days) a few of the toys the pups have shared and all her records. Great breeder, we love her.
Can you bring your other dog with you? You stated that she loves him so maybe that would help relax her and take her mind off the ride.
Best wishes and congrats on your new addition.dog
